Guided Hike: Rossini Road to the West Branch of Knife River

The Superior Hiking Trail Association presents this guided hike from Rossini Road to the West Branch of Knife River. Master Naturalists will lead the trek through varied ecosystems. There will be beaver ponds and opportunities to learn about North Shore geology and river hydrology.

The hike will include a stop at 12-Mile View for an interesting perspective on Lake Superior. There is a lot of variety packed into this short section of trail. A 20-minute lunch break at Big Bend campground will be the last stop. Participants can then hike back at their own pace. One guide will remain at the end of the line. The expected return time is 2:30 p.m.
