Glensheen Christmas Tours 2021
An event every day that begins at 9:00 am, repeating until Jan 8, 2022
Glensheen Mansion is decked out with 25 Christmas trees during the holiday season for the annual self-guided Christmas tours. More than 25 hidden elves are also scattered inside the mansion. Of the 25 Christmas trees, the tallest is the Main Hall Christmas tree which stands more than 15 feet tall inside the front door. Kids (and kids-at-heart) can I-spy the 25 elves on a Classic or Full Mansion tour.
New this year is an army of hidden naughty elves that have invaded the mansion. In addition to the 25 nice elves, the 25 more naughty elves have hidden in even sneakier locations. All 25 naughty elves can be found on a Full Mansion tour while all 25 nice elves can be found on a Classic or Full Mansion tour. Guests who find all 25 nice elves or all 25 naughty elves will be awarded a temporary tattoo claiming their “Elf Hunt Master” status at the end of their tour.
Starting Friday, Nov. 26, guests will have the chance to experience Glensheen’s Christmas décor at night. Self-guided Evening Candlelight Tours and the beloved outdoor Spirit of the Lights display will launch on Black Friday. Guests can snag their Evening Candlelight Tour tickets early by purchasing them online at glensheen.org. Access to the outdoor Spirit of the Lights display is free and open to the public, reservations or tickets are not required to attend the outdoor light display.
Self-guided Christmas tours are offered daily from Nov. 12 through Jan. 8. Glensheen will be closed on Nov. 25, and Dec. 24-25.
Self-guided Classic Christmas Tour tickets are available for purchase online. Due to demand and building capacities, the Full Mansion tours are only available onsite on a first-come, first-served basis.
