Duluth Planning Commission Annual Meeting
The annual meeting of Duluth’s Planning Commission in the Quarters Room at Greysolon Ballroom features a dinner at 6 p.m., call to order and roll call at approximately 6:30, and discussion of the Imagine Duluth 2035 Annual Report and other business.
The commission will also select the winner of the Zenith Award, to be presented to a project that has been built, or a program or event that has been conducted, that supports the goals, policies or recommendations of a city of Duluth plan or study.
Commission officers will also be elected.
Duluth’s Planning Commission typically meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the City Council Chambers of Duluth City Hall. Agendas and minutes can be found at duluthmn.gov.
The commission advises the City Council on all planning and development matters including rezonings, issuance of special use permits and community development policies. The commission has final authority in approval of plats, serves as the responsible governmental unit and conducts environmental reviews pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 116D and the applicable state regulations.
