Duluth Fourth Fest 2018 (on the Fifth)

Duluth’s Independence Day celebration features live music throughout the day and fireworks from 10:10 to about 10:30 p.m. The headline musical act is Savannah Conley.

Folk-country singer/songwriter Savannah Conley was born and raised 20 minutes outside Nashville and has been recording since the age of 7. Her sophomore EP, Twenty-Twenty, is produced by Grammy Award-winning Dave Cobb and is being released on his label Low Country Sound. Her music has been classified as “organic pop” with a quirky, edgy feel to it.

Fourth Fest Schedule
4 p.m. – Gates open
4:30 p.m. – Under the Bus
5:50 p.m. – Breanne Marie & the Front Porch Sinners
7:10 p.m. – Feeding Leroy
8:45 p.m. – Savannah Conley
10:10 p.m. – Northland’s largest fireworks display

Admission is free and handicap accessible. Attendees are invited to bring their own lawn chairs. No bottles, outside food, coolers, weapons or animals are allowed at Bayfront Park. One empty water bottle per patron will be permitted. Water stations are located inside the park across from portable restroom units. Dozens of food, beverage and craft vendors will be set up in the park.

Limited parking will be available at the DECC parking ramp, the Great Lakes Aquarium lot and in parking lots on Railroad Street west of Fifth Avenue West.

The Minnesota Slip Bridge (the blue pedestrian bridge between the DECC and Canal Park) will be lowered and closed to marine traffic from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. The Aerial Lift Bridge will stay down and be closed to marine traffic from 7 p.m. until midnight.

The city is working with Duluth Event Lighting to project red, white and blue colors on the Aerial Lift Bridge during the festivities.
