SUMMARY:Duluth Dance Union Workshop #2: Rodeo Scrum
DESCRIPTION:This weekend dance improvisation event is for movers of all types\, expert to beginner. Participants of all ages will practice contact improvisation\, solo dancing and compositional scores. The goal is to become grounded and dance together in an authentic\, affirming\, curious\, healthy way. There will be beach time\, food and a chance to participate in an improvised performance Saturday night 7:30-8:30 p.m. \nRodeos are round exhibitions of skill and a Scrum is a disorderly crowd. Rodeo Scrum is where skill and play roll around discovering new moves. \nBreakfast\, lunch and dinner provided on August 1 & breakfast on August 2. Shared rooms and free yard camping will be available Friday and Saturday nights with local hosts for out of town participants.  \nInstructors are Jane Shockley\, Galen Treuer\, Hijack\, Mark Jensen\, Marcus Young\, Sten Rudstrom\, and CDP led by Lindsay Forsythe and Tamin Totzke \nScholarships are available for those with limited ability to pay.
