Duluth Art Institute Masquerade Gala 2021

The Duluth Art Institute’s Masquerade Gala celebrates contemporary art, artists and the community. This year’s theme is “the Roaring ’20s.” The Great Hall of the Duluth Depot will bustle with period music, artists, art and food from Valentini’s. Attendees are encouraged to arrive in a ’20s-esque costume.
The event offers several opportunities to support the DAI financially through its silent auction, fund-a-need campaign, and general donations.
Last year’s event made it possible to provide free arts programming for teens, update the ceramics studio, support the Free ArtDAIs, and provide scholarship opportunities for artists and creative learners.
General admission is $50, which includes an evening of entertainment, heavy appetizers, cash bar, games and a silent auction. The $100 Speakeasy admission includes all of the general admission experiences and an after-party Speakeasy with a Steve Reyelts whiskey tasting in a historic lounge car. General admission events run from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.; the Speakeasy starts at 9:30 and continues until 11:30 p.m.
Attendees should bring cash for games and busker tips. Free parking is available in the Sixth Avenue ramp.
