DSSO: To Explore

Gioachino Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeri Overture opens an evening of playful music by the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra that flows into the turbulent waters of The Hebrides by Felix Mendelssohn. The evening continues with the most famous guitar concerto ever written, Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez featuring guest artist Jiji. The show concludes on an enchanting note with Maurice Ravel’s Le Tombeau de Couperin, an homage to French composer François Couperin.
