Douglas County COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic
Event Navigation
The University of Wisconsin-Superior’s Siinto S. Wessman Arena is serving as a COVID-19 community-based vaccination clinic, run by AMI Expeditionary Healthcare. The clinic is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The site will follow state guidelines to vaccinate populations based on eligibility. Anyone ages 16 and older can schedule an appointment using the Wisconsin COVID-19 Vaccine Registry. After registration, eligible individuals will be notified of the opportunity to schedule their appointment when openings become available.
The Pfizer vaccination will be administered. Initially, the Douglas clinic plans to administer at least 200 doses per day and has the ability to do up to 500 doses per day, dependent on vaccine supply. These community-based vaccination clinics are located throughout Wisconsin in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, UW System, AMI and local health departments, vaccinators and governments.
For vaccine-related questions and appointment registration support, individuals can call 844-684-1064. For more information on available COVID-19 vaccination options, visit the Where can I get vaccinated? webpage. Information can also be found on the Douglas County Public Health website and the UW-Superior Spring 2021 Microsite.
UW-Superior, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and UW System, continues to host a free COVID-19 testing site for anyone 5 years of age and older in the Marcovich Wellness Center. Registration for a free test can be completed online.
The COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Siinto S. Wessman Arena will not affect any UW-Superior student activities or sporting events. Spring commencement will be held in a virtual format.
