Event Navigation

The College of St. Scholastica’s School of Arts and Letters Faculty Colloquium for November features Dr. Kevin Vaughan examining the role of “religious classics” in Pope Francis’ encyclical on the environment, Laudato Si’: On Care for Our Common Home. He will uncover the concept of a “classic” used by Francis, and explore the implications for the church’s dialogue on the environment.

The talk will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

This free event will take place in the Library North Reading Room at the College of St. Scholastica. Participants can also join online via Zoom. Visit spotlight.css.edu to register.

Now in its 15th year, St. Scholastica’s School of Arts and Letters Colloquium is a monthly lecture series highlighting faculty research.
