Composting In the Garden Workshop

Duluth Community Garden Program Green Corps member Kaleb Montgomery teaches the basics of taking care of the community garden compost pile. Learn how and when to turn, transfer and moisten the community garden compost pile. Learn the do’s and dont’s when it comes to taking care of a compost pile and letting a full bin rest until it is ready. Additionally, this workshop will include an activity about soil health and what that looks like in the garden. This workshop takes place at Harrison Community Garden in West Duluth.
