Cocktails and Conversation: Black Womxn Artists

Zeitgeist Arts hosts the third of four Cocktails and Conversation events as part of its programming series Year of the Womxn.

Moderated by Sandra Oyinloye, local artists Terresa Moses, Kym E. Young and Carla Hamilton will have a conversation about their work, perspectives, and experiences.

This is a free event, and seats will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. The event will immediately follow the opening reception of Umbra, an art exhibit by Terresa Moses. This solo exhibition centers around the intersectional experiences of Black womxn.

Zeitgeist’s Year of the Womxn is a 12-month series of programming throughout 2019 that highlights women’s stories, perspectives and experiences while showcasing that women can, and do, hold positions of power, leadership and influence across the community.
