The St. Louis River Alliance presents an evening of music, appetizers, drinks and a silent auction to support the Clean Water Campaign to manage polluted riverbed sediment and industrial waste in the estuary at up to 10 identified sites.
For the first time, strategic partnerships and dedicated federal funding are lined up to make this restoration possible for the headwaters of Lake Superior. Securing $25 million in state bonding funds at this time is crucial, because it will trigger another $47 million in federal dollars. The SLRA is seeking to raise $150,000 to help ensure that an estimated $72 million in state bonding and federal funds flow into the community for this project.
Tickets are available in advance for $35 or at the door for $40.
