SUMMARY:The Christmas City Express 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Christmas City Express on the North Shore Scenic Railroad is an annual train ride and storytelling experience. Trains leave from the Depot on Fridays\, Saturdays and Sundays from Nov. 27 to Dec. 20. \nThe performance begins in the Lake Superior Railroad Museum\, where the story is told\, carolers sing and a special guest pays a visit. \nShow times are 4:15\, 5:15\, 6:15 and 7:15 p.m. on Fridays; 3:15\, 4:15\, 5:15\, 6:15 and 7:15 p.m. on Saturdays (Saturdays are $5 more per ticket); and 3:15\, 4:15\, 5:15 and 6:15 on Sundays. The full experience is about 90 minutes\, beginning with the performance and followed by a 30-minute train ride with complimentary hot chocolate\, cookies and holiday tunes. \nThe cost for coach seats is $42 for adults\, $38 for kids ages 3 and up\, and free for ages 2 and under. Domecar seats are $52 for all passengers. \nMusic is part of the show. Each night a local performer shares some holiday joy with passengers before and after the performance of The Christmas city Express.  \nTickets and more information are available at duluthtrains.com or by calling the North Shore Scenic Railroad at 218-722-1273.
