Black & White Ball 2025

The Salvation Army’s second annual Black & White Ball is an evening of elegance and entertainment featuring a social hour, dinner, silent auction, photo booth and dancing.

Schedule:
5 p.m. – Social Hour, Photo Booth & Silent Auction Open
6 p.m. – Welcome
6:15 p.m. – Dinner, Mission Overview, Dessert
7 p.m. – Ballroom Dance Sponsored by Simply Ballroom
8 p.m. – Silent Auction and Photo Booth Close

After dinner, professional dancers from Simply Ballroom hold a 30-minute mini ballroom dance class followed by open social dance and a professional ballroom dancing demonstration. Dinner options include chicken piccata in lemon caper sauce served with oven-roasted garlic mashed potatoes with grilled vegetables, or house-made Swedish meatballs served with oven-roasted garlic mashed potatoes and garlic green beans. The dessert is cheesecake with raspberry sauce.

The Duluth Salvation Army believes in faith put into action and making life better for others. With the ever-changing needs of the public combined with the instability of food and living costs, they see new participants coming to the food shelf, lunch programs and housing programs for assistance. As an organization, they help roughly 15,000 people annually, but need help to continue to do so. The Duluth Salvation Army has been doing work in the area for over 133 years. Many people are one significant life event away from needing help, and the Duluth Salvation Army wants to provide as much food, shelter and care as possible to as many as they can.
