Bert-a-Palooza’s Summerfest

Twin Ports Entertainment presents Bert-a-Palooza’s Summerfest, a fundraiser for the Northern Lights Foundation featuring live music by the Burning Verns, Macro and DJ Ruz.
Gates open at 3 p.m. and music starts at 3:30. As the chosen charity partner of the Bert-A-Palooza, the Northern Lights Foundation receives proceeds from ticket sales, merchandise sales and general donations. See former and current NHL players, UMD hockey and UMD football players. There will be games that kids can play with current NHL and UMD players and autograph sessions will also be available.
A volleyball game is scheduled between NHL team members and current UMD hockey team members. Current NHL and professional hockey players scheduled to appear include JT Brown, Andy Welinski, Neil Pionk, Karson Kuhlman, Hunter Miska, Adam Johnson and more. In addition: food trucks, local craft beers and ciders and yard games (including cornhole).
The official Bert-a-Palooza After Party starts at 10 p.m. at the Rex Nightclub, 600 E. Superior St., Duluth.
