Early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias provides a range of benefits for the individuals who are diagnosed, as well as their loved ones. Dr. Steve Waring, a Ph.D. at Essentia Institute of Rural Health explains new developments in Alzheimer’s research and treatment, and talks about the benefits of early diagnosis while navigating the healthcare system. The talk is in the main library’s “Gold Room.”
