Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival Tour

The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival Tour returns to Duluth Jan. 10-11. This stop on the tour is hosted by the Duluth Cross Country Ski Club, and proceeds from the event benefit local community ski projects. Each day offers different films.
The annual festival of outdoor video storytelling is held every fall in Banff, Alberta, then hits the road with stops in more than 600 communities and 40 countries across the globe. From more than 400 entries submitted each year, award-winners and audience favorites are among the films that are selected to play in theaters around the world.
Doors open at 5 p.m. so attendees can check out gear at the local sponsor booths, watch gear demos, enter a raffle, grab a drink and meet up with friends. Films start at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $30 at the door. Advance tickets are $25, available at decc.org or in person at the DECC ticket office adjacent to Amsoil Arena. Ticket office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
