Banadad Ski Trail Clearing

Northwoods Volunteer Connection is looking for help clearing the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness’ longest tracked ski trail. This is a choose-your-own adventure event. Drop in for a day or two and help clear from the trailhead, or join the elite camping crew to camp and clear the interior Wilderness sections of the trail. Crews will likely meet at 11 Poplar Creek Drive in Grand Marais.
Leadership, training, personal protective equipment, and tools will be provided. Per diem of $30/day offered to cover volunteers’ food cost. Camping equipment can be provided for a limited number of volunteers. Provided lodging may be possible for volunteers wishing to stay overnight in the area but stay in the frontcountry.
