Art Von Memorial Tournament 2022

709 Baseball and Lake Park Baseball host the 28th annual Art Von Memorial Tournament Aug. 5-7. The tournament consists of 64 teams of ballplayers age 14 and under from the United States and Canada. Multiple venues are being used, but the bulk of the 149 games will be at Lake Park, 3525 Riley Road in Rice Lake, just outside Duluth’s border.

Home run derbies will be held on Saturday — ages 12 and under at noon and ages 13 and under at 6:15 p.m.

Grill master Jerry Goar has something special in store for tournament, and there will be a pancake breakfast at the Lake Park facility both Saturday and Sunday morning. Local artists will sing the national anthem before all championship games.
