Art Through the Ages is a multi-week tour through thousands of years of art movements and a creative exploration of common art supplies.
Each class consists of a 30-minute lecture where students explore and discuss key concepts, stylistic features and iconic artists from each art movement. Following the lecture, students dive into a creative project inspired by the current period and learn how to use various art mediums.
In this session the class learns about Classical Antiquity in Greece (700 BCE- 400 CE) and the project will be acrylic storytelling paintings inspired by Greek pottery.
