Art Camp: Creating the Elements of Nature with Julia Jaakola
Participants in this art camp geared for ages 9-13 will have the chance to experience the magic in creating the smooth reflective quality of water, the sparkle of Lake Superior stones, and the rough feel of bark, ice and snow. Campers will use multiple art mediums in abstract or representational style to explore recreating the elements of nature such as solids, liquids and gas in their projects.
The camp runs June 28 to July 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. and is instructed by Julia Jaakola. The cost of the sessions is $150 for Duluth Art Institute members and $200 for nonmembers. To learn more or register visit duluthartinstitute.org.
The Duluth Art Institute is following CDC Covid-19 guidelines, as well as state and local protocols. Physical distancing measures are practiced in all indoor spaces. Masks are required when indoors.
