A Conversation About Race in Minnesota

A conversation with Dr. Waziyatawin and Dr. William Green that will deconstruct the history of race in Minnesota with the goal of reparative action. Waziyatawin and Green will focus on Dakota and African-American history in Minnesota, respectively, and on the implications for implementing antiracist actions in research, teaching, student activities and the workplace.

Each speaker will have 30 minutes, followed by a Q&A. There will also be breakout discussions for participants to talk about antiracist work they’re engaged with in their courses, research, student activities, or committees.

Registration is required. A Zoom link will be provided to those who register.
