Stolen Trek Path Bicycle (East End)

My bicycle was stolen off of my back porch the other night. It is a great bike so I am looking for anyone who can help regarding this matter. I would be thrilled to compensate you for your trouble with whatever means you desire (money, a Brewhouse growler).

Here are some specks:
TREK S.U. 1.0
Completely Silver frame with light white font
Black bag attachment on the back
22.5″ frame
Pad Brakes … very streamline looking almost like a road bike

I leave it to you! The great city of Duluth! Give me a call: 701-330-6860

August 13 – We Love Two Harbors

The love for Minnesota is going to be overflowing this August 13 when Two Harbors plays host to the widely popular Twin Cities band Two Harbors for an exciting night of music and movies.

FYI.

My wife found this info at four news sources:

PARSONS, Tenn. (WVLT) — U.S. Marshals arrested a convicted sex offender in Minnesota wanted for questioning in connection with the Holly Bobo’s disappearance. Marshals found 43-year-old [name excluded just to be safe — innocent until proven guilty, etc.] in Duluth, Minnesota Thursday at his girlfriend’s house.

We can’t find any reference at DNT or local TV websites? FYI, in any case.

Duluth Disc Golf

I heard about a disc golf course in Lincoln Park. Where is it located?

Also, are there other courses around that I am not aware of? I know of Mont du Lac, and the three located by the colleges (LSC, Scholastica, UMD). I am missing any others?

Not impressed.

Spock is not impressed with the Cascade Park mural.

Spock is not impressed with the Cascade Park mural. Apparently neither are some of the Hillside residents.

First Thursday Motorcycle Ride

Well, I’ve been a slacker and haven’t been pushing this, but I’m trying to make up for it now. We now meet in front of the old credit union building, plenty of space. Did I mention free co-op coffee?

The Strib’s latest take on Duluth

This might be old news, but did anyone see this lovely article in the Star Tribune (Newspaper of the Twin Cities) about Duluth by Curt Brown? He’s going for Duluth beyond the lakefront, and ends up at a Burrito Union cribbage tournament.

What do you think? Did he unearth the “real Duluth”? Or just pack down further the existing path off the beaten Lakewalk path?
