The Nordic Center is hosting a series of music workshops from November through April on the third Sunday of each month. Learn folk tunes from Nordic Europe, along with their history and cultural traditions. The workshops are geared toward melody players, but are open to all musicians and listeners with a curiosity about Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Denmark and Sápmi. Eric Judeen 10k Classic Ski Race
Korkki Nordic has been hosting the historic Erik Judeen 10k Classic Ski since 1963, and after 59 years, the race is still going strong. As always, there is fun for the whole family and spectators are also welcome. Registration fees vary: 10K Classic Race: $10 for Jr. High and High School skiers and college skiers paying their own tuition. $35 per person through Saturday, March 4 with an increase to $40 per person on race day.
