The Duluth Public Utilities Commission is holding a public hearing regarding proposed water rate increases. The hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers, Duluth City Hall Room 320. The purpose of the hearing will be to explain the proposed 9.25% increases to the water variable rates effective April 15, and effective Jan. 1 for each of the next four years, and to receive comments from the public regarding the proposed multi-year rate plan.

The Cedar Lounge hosts bingo every Tuesday night with opportunities to win Earth Rider Brewery pints, crowlers, six packs and tickets to upcoming events at the Earth Rider Brewery Fest Field. There is no cost to play. Tuesday is also Riders' Night at the Cedar. Whether by wheel, ski or scoot, whatever the means of transportation, riders can receive $3 half pours and $2 off pub pizzas while playing bingo from 6 to 8 p.m.

Duluth Children's Museum is offering monthly Play and Learn sessions. Caregivers and children will enjoy a hands-on STEAM program, followed with museum exploration. Other early childhood development resources provided by the Northland Foundation will be available to participants. Pre-registration is not required and sessions are open for everyone.

AAA Duluth hosts a Transportation Security Administration pop-up event the week of March 25-29. Those interested should go to the TSA website to make the appointment and fill out the application, then visit the AAA office for a 15-minute appointment with TSA to verify. The hours are Monday though Friday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.
