Wolf Ridge Tree Planting Volunteer Opportunity
Northwoods Volunteer Connection invites the public to participate in planting and protecting native white pine seedlings at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center. Banadad Ski Trail Clearing
Northwoods Volunteer Connection is looking for help clearing the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness' longest tracked ski trail. This is a choose-your-own adventure event. Drop in for a day or two and help clear from the trailhead, or join the elite camping crew to camp and clear the interior Wilderness sections of the trail. Travel to the easternmost end of the Boundary Waters Wilderness to help clean up the portage from Pine Lake into Stump Lake. This will be a multi-day trip that will require camping for three nights in the Boundary Waters. A stipend of $30/day is offered to cover food costs while on the project.

Keep Duluth Clean: Fall Clean-Up
Keep Duluth Clean is a Duluth volunteer-based group organizing clean-ups and raising awareness on litter, dumping and other environmental issues within the city.
