Red Cross Day
UW-Superior invites the community to celebration Red Cross Day. Multiple events will be taking place throughout the day such as hands on CPR demonstrations, honor flight card writing and the opportunity to learn about becoming a Red Cross volunteer. Also, during the day, UW-Superior students will teach lessons about refugees and international humanitarian law and the Red Cross with an exhibit titled Refugee for 75 Minutes.

UW-Superior is hosting Dr. Jud Brewer for his virtual presentation, Unwinding Anxiety: Can Anxiety and Worry be Perpetuated like a Habit? Participants will have a chance to write their life story in this two-part workshop led by UW-Superior's Deb Faul. The first session will instruct participants on how to get started and the second session will focus on the organization and polishing of writing. The use of personal laptops is encouraged. Attendees can make a new lip gloss or lip stain in any shade they like. The base is made from clean, organic and natural ingredients. Shades can be made long-lasting, super moisturizing or matte. Duluth Folk School hosts an altar box painting workshop. Participants will create their own altar box in two phases: on the new moon they will pick out and paint their alter box. Then, on the full moon, participants will gather again to finish their creations. Registration is required.
