The Duluth Flame runs a monthly open mic event that may include music, poetry, comedy or drag. The night is hosted by poet Jess Morgan as well as drag performer, Dixie Diamond. This two-hour Duluth Folk School course examines first, second and third-person points of view in literature, as well as omniscient. Through reading examples of each, the group seeks a better understanding of what works, what doesn’t and why. Autumn Carolynn invites readers to journey with her on her upcoming book release, "Traveling in Wonder: A Travel Photographer's Tales of Wanderlust." This narrative details Autumn, a former flight attendant, reflecting on her extensive travels to 30 countries over 30 years. The book was released on February 24th, 2024.
