March into Mentoring Lunch and Learn

Dozens of the area’s finest local restaurants and beverage venders serve up their tastiest victuals and libations at the annual Taste at Fitger's event. The fundraiser supports Second Harvest Northland, the region's largest hunger-relief organization. Attendees vote for their favorite appetizer, entrée, dessert and table décor. White Pine Lodge and Poplar Haus on the Gunflint Trail are celebrating the end of this crazy winter. The event invites participants to take a refreshing and icy dip into Poplar Lake. After the plunge, participants will be treated to a sauna session at Poplar Haus or White Pine Lodge. The Saint Louis County Historical Society and its Veterans Memorial Hall are holding a 5k to honor the memory of Command Sergeant Major John S. Werner. CSM John S.
