Experienced guides lead a day of climbing. Attendees can learn the basics of a top-managed anchor setup and get on some of the best rock in the Midwest. All climbing equipment is provided, as well as transportation to the park from the University of Minnesota Duluth campus. Register by noon Wednesday before each event.

Kids can read The Day the Crayons Made Friends and do some crayon-related activities. This is geared towards kids younger than first grade, but the whole family is welcome. Kids are encouraged to bring their favorite blanket, pillow, or stuffed animal and dress in their favorite crayon colors.

Travel from island to island and camp overnight beside sandy beaches. Paddle over shipwrecks visible just beneath the surface of the water, play croquet on a lighthouse lawn and experience the wonder of paddling through sea caves. The first day includes a basic strokes and rescues course to prepare you to maneuver safely and confidently in a sea kayak.
