The Playhouse Family Theatre presents an original story about a group of friends making it through the holidays in a time of quarantine and uncertainty. Donations will go directly to the Playhouse’s Save Your Seat campaign, which aims to close the financial gap the community theatre faces since the pandemic darkened their stages back in March, resulting in a massive loss of show-related income. Duluth's mega Christmas-light spectacular is a drive-through experience in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The attraction is open until Dec. 31. Drivers must access the event from Garfield Avenue and approach Bentleyville from the eastbound lane of Railroad Street. Signs will point drivers in the proper direction. There will be no access to Bentleyville from Fifth Avenue West or Lake Avenue this year. Portions of Fifth Avenue West near the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center will close during the event.…

Twin Ports Trailer Trash Christmas Tree Pickup
Twin Ports Trailer Trash, a Duluth-based junk removal company, offers free Christmas tree pickups during its second annual holiday tree removal event, running Jan. 6-7. Residents of Duluth, Superior and Hermantown are eligible. Call 218-206-7225 to schedule. Trees must be left curbside without lights, decorations, etc. No artificial or flocked trees.
