Corktown Deli & Brews and Love Creamery will open June 13

Two new eateries, next door to each other at 1906 and 1908 W. Superior St. in Duluth’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, will officially open full hours on Wednesday, June 13.

More details can be found in two previous Perfect Duluth Day stories:

Corktown Deli will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. providing handcrafted sandwiches, schmears, soups and a variety of salads — from leaf to grain to pasta.

Love Creamery will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. serving homemade ice cream and sorbet, accompanied by a traditional espresso bar. Owner Nicole Wilde plans to have some traditional flavors on hand, such as raspberry and mint chocolate chip, but she also wants to mix up the freezer case with original concoctions such as dairy-free and sugar-free ice cream options. She uses as many local and organic ingredients as possible, including fresh mint from her garden.

'Do you know that place from when I used to work at UMD and we would get ice cream (at the farmers market at UMD)?'

Yes! I don't forget good ice cream so easily.

So there you have it. Right out of the mouth of a kid who was 9 or 10 when we were talking about getting the ice cream.
