Amanda and Rick and the new bike

Yesterday I saw this rain-soaked note clinging to the propane cage outside the Walgreen’s on Superior and 12th…

I thought it was odd enough to post on a well-known social media platform as a curiosity. Then Scott Lunt (aka Starfire) saw it and posted this version of the note he saw on 4th Street…

Now I’m wondering if a) there are more of these notes out there, b) they are legitimate and not part of some guerilla marketing campaign I’ve just perpetuated and c) anyone knows these people.

The change in writing style makes me suspicious.

There is consistency in misspelling "Loaves & Fishes," though. I'll give him that.

Intriguing. Maybe try calling the number and inquire what "LOVES and Fishes" is and how you could get a new bike and see what they have to say?

The phone number is the Loaves and Fishes Dorothy Day house.

The writing style looks similar to me. The exclamation points are the same, and the ampersand is the same. The numerals look about the same. He just printed one and wrote the other.

Come on, Amanda. Give Rick a call.

Yep. I'm sure it has to do with this:

And maybe the inconsistent hand writing is more than one person in the collective helping to make signs if they really need to contact Amanda.
