I stumbled upon them for the first time after leaving Low at Fitger's. I went to have a quick drink across the hallway at Red Star and was drawn into the band from across the bar. I caught about an hour of their set and had a blast the whole time. I'm really looking forward to seeing them play Homegrown this year @ Grandma's.

Above is a lousy, blurry photo of Red Mountain playing the Red Star gig Jeffrey mentioned. Below is Red Mountain playing the Dances on the Lakewalk event last July. I post these photos together because I think there are maybe four band members who are in both photos. It's a versatile bunch.

I remember seeing Red Mountain as a 2 piece outfit opening for Haus Meeting at the Red Mug sometime in 2008. They set up a little tent fort on the stage using chairs and a sheet and played under the sheet. The next time I saw them was at last year's Homegrown at Pizza Luce. They had several more members and the look of a stage production, versatile indeed.
