"So Picasso and Einstein walk into a bar..." and have a conversation written by Steve Martin. What's not to love?

I saw this play off-Broadway in New York in 1997 and it was simply briliant! Steve Martin's writing and knowledge of art and scientific theory is fantastic. The acting for the most part is fairly level but the dialogue and zany conversations and such made for an unforgettable experience. You will not be disappointed.

FUN!

I saw this produced at St. Scholastica about 10 years ago. As I recall, it was only a year or two after Steve wrote it and it was to be the first student production of the work. I believe he was invited to come see the show, though sadly never came.

Very cool play & a fun concept. Wouldn't mind going to see it again!

Saw this last night. I love this pay and have taught it in undergraduate classes.

"Say goodbye to the Age of Indifference and Hello to the Age of Regret." If you can explain that, you can explain modernity, and this play helps.

The performance was hilarious, and the play was equal mixes heady ideas, laughs, and, for just a moment, I fell in love with Germaine. It's too easy to play these characters entirely flat, and at moments, in this production, they (Einstein and Germaine especially) reveal an emotional depth that is welcome.

Thanks for sharing that. I am greatly looking forward to the show... assuming it is not sold out next week from all the positive buzz.
