PDD Background Color Change

As most of you have probably noticed, Perfect Duluth Day has changed its background colors. The changeover started several days ago, and there have been some issues with the old colors popping up in a few spots …

… but we think we’ve taken care of all of those issues now. Please let us know if you see the old colors popping up anywhere.

Also, let us know if you love or hate the change. If you love the change it will make us feel good. If you hate the change we will get all defensive and accuse you of having poor taste.

I honestly don't notice a color change and before I am scolded in saying so I must say I'm always pleased with any PDD growth or evolution. Change is a hard word for some people. Just the word can evoke negative criticism but keep up the great work PDD team. Jeepers, it's Monday and my zest for life is overwhelming!

Definite improvement. 

Next up: please consider taking 1 minute to adjust the leading in the "Recent Comments" list in the left column. This is one of the most important/prominent elements for navigating PPD. Right now there is no separation between each link in the list. By tightening the leading in each link and/or adding spacing between list items, legibility will be greatly improved.

I would like to see more Comic Sans. Also, if you could enable the "blink" HTML, that would be great.

I'm with heysme ... what did you change?  Evidently, it was a good choice, if at least two of us didn't notice.

It should be noted that in the super-caching browser that is Chrome, I had to hit Ctrl-F5 three times before seeing the style change.

It happens a lot lately that the screen comes up grey and takes a long time to turn to tan.  Started maybe a month ago.

Like the new colors. I agree with Carla on the "delay," I have seen that over the last month(ish). Figured it was just my bloated computer and it very well may be.  Only other thing I would suggest is more cowbell.
I'll run crap cleaner and purge all the fluff out of the corners of the computer and see if things behave better.  It's intermittent like most things.

The new color is too PC, the old more Mac. More in tune with the natural surroundings of Duluth. I hate you.

Like the new colors, love the "Minnow Swallowing Contest."  

Another idea:  I would like to be able to click onto some of these banners and know who, what, where, when and why.  Some are really intriguing, others quite beautiful. Oh, and I recognize my neighbor in one too.

There is a "Perfect Duluth Day Banners Photostream" on Flickr where people can comment on banners and add the story of the photo, but there are almost no comments there, so ... I guess my point is that the opportunity for what Emmadogs is suggesting has existed for three years and people are welcome to make something happen there at any time.

I realize part of the problem is that most people don't know this possibility exists, but ... well ... here's me drawing attention to it.
