Trampled by Turtles to play Brewfest

Trampled by Turtles are playing a concert at the Great Twin Ports Taste-Together Brewfest and Wine Tasting at Black Bear Casino’s Otter Creek Event Center on Saturday, Feb.19.  The Brewfest runs from 4-8pm and features live music by the Fractals before the Turtles take the stage at 8:30pm.  You must have a ticket for the Brewfest to see the Turtles.

Is it just me or does having the brewfest miles away from Duluth/Superior when people are going to be drinking and there is no public transportation seem like a bad idea?

Wow, that band is awesome!  I was thinking of going before but the addition of this band seals the deal.  Hope there are tickets left. Does anyone know what the details are regarding beer & wine samples?  All you can handle or do you get a few drink tickets and then have to purchase after that?

Brewfest Update (via TPN):

We just wanted to update all of our ticket holders on a couple of important points for this Brewfest....

1.) We will be providing free shuttle bus service to and from downtown Duluth to Black Bear Casino on the day of the event.  The buses will be departing from Fond-du-Luth Casino located at 129 E. Superior Street beginning at 3:15pm and run continuously as needed.  The buses will begin departing Black Bear Casino at 8:15pm - and those staying for the Trampled By Turtles Concert- the last buses will leave Black Bear returning to Fond-du-Luth Casino at 11:30pm.  We have a total of 4 buses scheduled to run - each one holds 54 passengers.  This shuttle bus service is FREE to Brewfest ticket holders.

2.) Everyone attending the Trampled By Turtles concert at 8:30pm will be required to have purchased a ticket to Brewfest.  Designated Drivers will be allowed into the Brewfest between 4pm and 8pm at no cost - but WILL BE REQUIRED to leave the Brewfest room at 8pm.  They are welcome to wait in the Casino until the concert ends at approximately 10pm.  Again- YOU MUST HAVE PURCHASED A TICKET TO BREWFEST to attend the Trampled by Turtles Concert.
