Will the money go to the local Red Cross or the Salvation Army? I think it's awesome you all are organizing a benefit, I'm just curious how you'll disperse the money. Thanks in advance for the info.

Gingerbliss, I will go through my stash and drop off some books tomorrow at CCC then, I know I have some good ones to give.

More About The Event

Alicia will be posting a flier later today. We will give the money to a charity - not exactly sure which one yet.  My preference would be for a local like Damiano or CHUM if they are working on this problem.  The big charities are taking care of the big needs like housing -- we are working more on the everyday stuff and giving everyday people a chance to get involved.

Bruce and I will be making the dinner so it will be GOOD!

Someone named Patricia wrote about helping.  We need people to collect the $$ at the door for the dinners.  That would be great!
And yes the Kozyites are invited.

I also got a call from a guy named Eric Bong who wants to do chair massage that afternoon from 3:30 to 6:30 in our basement room.  Suggested donation to the cause is $1.00 per minute.

I was just at the Salvation Army in the Friendly West End -- they're being inundated with donations! In fact, re the adult males's clothing brought over, they said they might be selling it at their store instead, they have so much clothing for the Kozy people now. This is beautiful, seeing how the community is pulling together like this.

Thanks for all the information.  It sounds like everyone should have warm clothes this winter ... yay.

Terrol is playing!?!?! Saweeeet. She is a fantastic guitar player and singer. I cannot wait to see her in action again.  The question is, will Mr. Keegan be playing trap kit? Cheerio.

Sawwweeet. Two nights of Terrol is tasty.  What time?  I am planning on hitting up the night in the box/pert near show as well.  Oh how glorious!

Terrol, Jane & Kyle were left off the poster but will be playing tonight, Nov. 21, 7-830 pm in the wine bar!
