Awesome Guitar - Sunday 9/21
This Sunday (9/21) - Justin Roth at Amazing Grace Bakery - 7pm - $10
One of the best guitar players you'll hear, also an alum of UMD, come check him out, he only makes it to Duluth about 2 times a year. I promise you won't be disappointed. And I'll be happy all the tables are full. You can also enjoy a cookie!
If we do not support our artists, then we sacrifice our imagination on the altar of crude reality and we end up believing in nothing and having worthless dreams.

Justin Roth is an awesome guitarist, performer and actually getting some really good songs, too. I am so glad to hear about this.

"getting some really good songs"? ;-) I don't think there are many (any?) songs of his that aren't good. Even his first album is solid. But yeah, the new stuff he's been playing is seriously good. His shows are always just a lot of fun...very personal and you always have a good laugh or two, too.
So I can count on at least one PDDer being there, then? :-)

Request he play the song "Dead Horse Trampoline". It is hilariously sick.

Sammy - I've never been to a show where he DIDN'T play DHT. I think it's like a Storyhill encore, or them playing "Steady On." You don't have to ask for it. Ye shall just magically receive. DHT's novelty has long since left me, but I still enjoy the audience reaction.
