Yeah, arthritis sucks and I've come to the conclusion that I need to get rid of my knitting and spinning stuff. Please visit the list if you're interested...and do you want my cat as well? She's nine and hates our dog and I think she's a bit miserable at our house...

Sorry to hear arthritis is bogging down your handicrafts. I've heard from several friends that there are spinning wheels that are much easier than the Louets to use for arthritis sufferers. You probably already checked into this, but Ashford Spinning Wheels, for example, are supposed to be easier to use.
