i have an affinity for old western/spy/sci-fi serials like this one...kinda like the ones you'd see on MST3K...
I'm not sure how I ran across this poster...I think I was searching imdb for another movie, ran across another poster for Radar Patrol vs. Spy King, wiki'd it, and came up with this poster...
Gene Autry (Fellow Texan and Singing Cowboy) did a mess of them back in the 30's and 40's...The Phantom Empire was the name of the serial...

One of the grand old Republic serials. I would get it if I knew where.

The days of the Republic are over. Now you will feel the true strength and power of the Empire!

Cool cover... In what way are you bitching? This is what I don't understand.
