Looks beautiful!! I went on several hikes this weekend and found a mushroom forest. It's that time of year.

I think I was on the same lake with you. Three of us were moose hunting up there. Wierd.

you missed two really nice bull moose on the stream (read: beaver dammed river) between kawishiwi and square lakes, we (paul and I) were paddling around a bend and startled them as they were grazing on water lilies. unfortunately, they hurried off into the forest before i could get a camera shot off...

the duck hunters were about pretty thick too...unfortunately for them, all of the ducks were inside the BWCA...i maybe heard one gunshot the whole weekend.
