Who's your favorite superhero and why?

Starfire retracted his post inviting mayoral candidates to post on the blog, but I think it's a great idea. So I'll throw out the first question. And no cheating! No saying, "my mom" or "Mrs. Crandle, my 6th grade teacher." I mean, you can say that, but you get the shark tank then.
