Time for a trim...

Last haircut I had was...christ...four or five years ago...it's tangly, it knots up frequently and quite frankly, I'm getting kinda tired of having so much of it.

Hence, I'm about due.

I'm not fuddy duddy about my locks...just a straightline cut right up to the shoulders...chopping off about eight inches of my mane.

Problem is...I'm not up to spending 20 bucks just to have someone whack at my hair, when there's not a lot that can be done...I don't style...I don't fuss...thus, I don't require an expensive treatment...

Anyone have an Idea as to...who or where I can get a decent trim...?

My best cut was in a sauna, many inches after many fine spirits, and a good pair of crafting scissors. I think many a pal can help you.

University Barbers in Kenwood - Warren Chesney is a Duluth Institution. Prepare to look like you were in the movie "Diner" though. 14 bucks plus tip. Click on my name and scroll down for another review.

i could do it for free. bring your own razor.

BAM!
Nobody cuts like the Russkies. $13 plus tip.

[sigh] i was thinking about posting this the other day [more of a question for the gals though] as i haven't had a hair cut since 2005.

last time i lived up here was in the early 90's and if you didn't go the the Hair Police you were nuthin'

Now there's spas and salons on every street corner. what's a gal to do?

Consider yourself ahead by not getting haircuts over the years and go splurge for a whole treatment - wash, condition, cut, and massage.
Otherwise, I second the BAM suggestion.

Yeah Gwanto...I'm gonna have to pass on your offer...sorry man...I like ya, but the last time my hair was...well, I've never had hair so short that there's none there. The look works for you, but not so much for me. Though I can see pulling it off with a huge beard a'la Shel Silverstein, but I'm gonna have to be quite a bit older. Besides, Hazel would have a difficult time getting used to that.

I did make several deployments to the Indian Ocean and South Pacific in my younger years, which generally warranted a trip to the ship's barber to have a #1 ran over my head...it's a lot easier to keep cool with no insulation on top.
