Ok, so Luce' isn't the absolute best place for an art show, however...

Chicago-based artist Patti Kremer and Duluth artist Bridget Riversmith will present an exhibit of their new work titled "Colors in Canvas and Cloth" October 12 – November 9, 2006 at Pizza Luce in downtown Duluth (11 East Superior St.). An opening reception will be held Thursday, October 12 from 6 – 8 p.m. The art exhibit is free and open to the public.

Kremer's work features whimsical patterns, animals, and figures rendered in vibrant dyes on silk and a variety of other textiles.

Riversmith uses brightly colored gouache, watercolors, and acrylics on paper and canvas to illustrate characters and scenes from her imagination, dreams, stories, and the collective unconscious. Her work has been recently exhibited in Toronto, Canada and Budapest, Hungary.
