i sign says it all

I remeber driving to target with my parents in 1970 to buy a model of the x-15. We drove past this tree covered hill with a stream running through it. Now, that hill is a barnes and nobel, great american grill and a hot topic. I gaught this sign on the hill facing the mall.

A friend and I got off I35 N at 21st east, and saw those AWFUL looking condos right on the lake. About the only uglier thing anywhere near the lake is that Godawful looking aquarium.

Hopefully those condos will be the only ones popping up and ruining the view, but I won't hold my breath.

Ain't progress wonderful?
