Hope to see you! Pictures of Then is fresh of (on?) tour and back from Austin. Real nice guys, real great music – if you’re fans of Dr. Dog, ELO or Modest Mouse I’m sure you’ll enjoy their pop psych rawk!
That’s right it’s a show! Locals Excuse Me Princes and Meridene of Amble Down Records (Eau Claire, WI) will be joining F-Elles for a night of enchantment and meriment.
Show w/ The Branditos, The Fontanelles & the Western Ridge + a limited amount of hand screened music compilations (done by Glen Maloney) featuring 14 songs (by Jordan Taylor, Sara Softich, the Branditos, and me) and some noise and stuff.
Three Local bands will play original rock & folk music and then cover the Beatles ‘Let it Be’ at the end of the night.
Hear:
- Two Beat Band singing “Don’t Let Me Down”
- Old Knifey & the Cuthroats singing “The Long & Winding Road”
- The Fontanelles playing the original and uncut version of “Dig It”
- Terrible banter from socially awkward singers.
See:
- Lots of flannel.
- Lots of PBRs
- Fontanelles’ confusing material with songs from “Let it Be”
(Replacements) and “Let it Bleed
- the BRAND NEW “Old Knifey” dance.
We promise there will be no ruffies at this show. But we can’t promise there will be cake.
only $3. so for $8 you will have to opportunity to stroll from RTs to Luce and see a ton of local music while prepping your calves for Homegrown. Todd Gremmels will also be filling in for Jason Wussow in “Pillow Talk”.
