Info gleaned from Facebook page:

It will be a locally owned tea shop and bakery, offering tea by the cup, loose leaf to take home, on-tap kombucha made in the shop and Boba tea.

Address: 1831 E. Eighth St., Suite G103

On track to open sometime in August.

Looking forward to it. :) I've been talking about it for years that Duluth needs a tea shop that will sell a good variety of loose leaf that you can have by the cup. Tons of coffee shops, no tea shops until now.

A Facebook comment from Sept. 5 about the opening of the Snooty Fox notes: "We've had to push it back a bit due to construction but I'm confident in saying end of September!"

I'm told a sign in front indicates "October."

The recent Lake Voice News article "Duluth native finds direction, joy in running tea shop," provides some background on owner Elizabeth Spehar, but does not mention when the shop will open.

The Duluth News Tribune reports the opening is "currently planned for Oct. 14."

The Snooty Fox will offer more than 80 types of loose teas to take home or to drink there as well as tea accessories such as infusers and electric kettles. The tea will come from around the world, including Japan, Sri Lanka, China, India and Africa.

Tea time has been delayed due to wisdom teeth, according to the sign in the window.
