The theme for the art show is inspired by a popular jazz standard written by Rodgers & Hart in 1937 for the musical Babes in Arms: “My funny valentine / My sweet comic valentine / You make me smile with my heart / Your looks are laughable / Unphotographable / Yet you’re my favorite work of art.”
