Don’t bother adjusting your antenna … KDLH is having transmitter issues

If you’ve been throwing your antenna around the room since the first segment of 60 Minutes on Sunday, give up. KDLH channels 3.1 and 3.2 are experiencing a transmitter outage. Engineers are working on it.

Update: You can temporarily pick up KDLH on channel 6.3 while technicians continue work to solve the issue.

Seems to me that the channel 3 problem was man made... Channel 6 was off the air during the day. Then mysteriously just after the football game the problem jumped over to channel 3. Could it be the problem jumped channels because they were following advertising money for the Golden Globe awards?

No conspiracy exists, KDLH has been having transmitter issues for the past week or so. I have been having to adjust my antenna to get a signal, up until Sunday when it went out for good.

After 48 hrs.they should have been able to fly in any needed components. Also, why was this issue sparsely reported? Not in the newspapers website, not even KDLH's own sister station!

Ever since KDLH was purchased by Granite Broadcasting it seems like our CBS affiliate has been treated the red headed stepchild. To me it seems like they should be able to broadcast CBS on 6-2 or 6-3.

To clarify the comment above, KDLH is not owned by Granite Broadcasting, it is owned by Malara Broadcast Group. The two entities have a marketing agreement which allows Granite to operate KDLH without technically owning it. That is, if I know what I'm talking about.

Channel 3 is now available on channel 6.3. Rescan your TV or punch in the numbers on your remote to start receiving it again.

Awesome, I can watch Letterman tonight! Kimmel and Leno just weren't doing it for me.
